We should never allow the actions of the wicked to affect our day, neither be envious of them, when they seem to be successful in their endeavors. We can do this  according to Ephesians 6:10, "Finally, my brethren,  be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might", a prerequisite needed, before dressing up in the armor of God, and we must know who we are in Christ.

David reminded us in Psalm 37:1-2, "Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. (2) For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb." According to the commentary notes in the Application Bible, "We should never envy evil people, even though some may be extremely popular or excessively rich. No matter how much they have, it will fade and vanish like grass that withers and dies. Those who follow God live differently from the wicked and, in the end, will have treasures in heaven. What an unbeliever gets on earth may last a lifetime, but what you get from following God lasts forever."

Continue to pray for the wicked, that are in the world and in the church, that they would allow the finished work of Jesus Christ on the Cross, change their stony hearts into hearts of flesh.
